Presentation of the book entitled “Social movements in the Basque Country in times of pandemic: consequences, adaptations and new scenarios”, signed by Edorta Arana from the NOR research group and five other researchers from EKOPOL, Parte Hartuz and AFIT.
The Solidary research project, of which the authors of the book are part, all of them researchers of the UPV/EHU, analyzes the situation of social movements in the Basque Country and to this end has carried out an extensive survey among the mentioned social organisations. The book focuses in particular on those groups that work on Anti-Racism-Migration-Interculturality (AMI), Feminism (FEM), Ecology (ECO) and Euskera (EUS) and on the situation of these social movements, their activity, participation and how COVID-19 has influenced their actions. In addition, the survey offers interesting information on how these social movements perceive their future.
The book has been published in Basque, French and Spanish and can be downloaded free of charge from the UPV/EHU Editorial Service repository.
